Salah started his career with El Mokawloon, and played three seasons in the Egyptian Premier League with the club.

He then had his first taste of Premier League football, signing for Chelsea. However, it was an unsuccessful spell and he soon left for Italy.
He had a season on loan at Fiorentina, before spending two years at Roma. Salah moved back to the Premier League in 2017, signing for Liverpool.
In his first year with the Reds, he broke the Premier League’s single season scoring record with 32 goals, earning him both the Golden Boot and Player of the Year. Liverpool also finished runners-up in the Champions League.
Salah made his international debut in 2011, and has since gone on to make over fifty appearances for the Egypt national side. He became a national hero by scoring a 95th minute penalty to send his country to the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
