Liverpool may allow loan as Turkish giants eye stunning Shaqiri swoop

Liverpool midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri has been linked with a shock move to Turkish giants Galatasaray.

The Swiss international has been struggled for opportunities since his arrival on Merseyside, with only two starts in the current Premier League campaign so far.

Shaqiri suffered relegation with Stoke last season before securing a £13m move to Anfield, and his recent appearances – including a goal in the 4-1 win over Cardiff City – have caught the eye and shown that he is simply not at Anfield to make up the numbers.

However, according to Transfer Market Web, the former Bayern Munich man is disappointed with his role at Liverpool.

As a result, Galatasaray are monitoring the situation, and the TMW report suggests that the Reds may even sanction a January loan.
